rVeronica M. Lucchese founded of Verographie in 2017 in hopes of bringing her peers closer to nature. Using film, photography, journalism, and 3-D art, Verographie aims to define the, often, unnoticed relationships humans share with the nature world. From highlighting stories of coexistence to tales of habitat destruction, Lucchese explores these relationships from a variety of perspectives. Earning her Bachelors in Marine Affairs, Geology, and Anthropology with a minor in Art from the University of Miami, her art is highly influenced by her education. Winner of the Plus One Scholarship at UM, Lucchese is now studying film, photography and journalism. As a Naturalist, her work is highly influenced by the environments she explores and by the opinions of those she educates. Verographie will continue to focus on photography with a set goal of increasing film and journalistic content.
